In addition to the included air compressor designed for continuous use and comes with 1 - 4' RING (16 Diamter) Diffuser, fittings, and clamps. Aeration elevates the oxygen level in a pond, increasing the activity of beneficial bacteria. They feed on excess nutrients that cause green water algae and muck. While the pond's ecosystem benefits greatly from aeration, the kit also functions as a deicer, keeping an opening in surface ice so harmful gas can escape.
